About

Hi, I'm Lauchlan.

I help people build confidence through fitness, whether that's stepping into the gym for the first time or getting back on track after losing momentum.

For me, it's never been about looking better. It's about feeling capable, consistent and in control of your progress.

My story

At the age of three, I was diagnosed with hydrocephalus and over the years I've been through upwards of 70 brain surgeries.

For a long time, that shaped what I believed I could and couldn't do. The gym felt like a place I didn't belong, something for other people but not me.

That changed when I started training properly.

It wasn't instant, and it certainly wasn't perfect. But showing up, doing the work and slowly getting stronger gave me something I hadn't felt before: Confidence.

Running & marathons

Running became a huge part of that journey.

From struggling through my first 5km ParkRun, to completing my first marathon, it taught me more than just fitness. It built discipline, patience and trust in myself.

That's where my approach comes from now: combining strength and endurance to build a body that's not just fit but capable in real life.

Why I coach

I became a coach because I know exactly how it feels to walk into a gym and not have a clue what you're doing.

It's intimidating. It's overwhelming. And it's easy to quit before you even get started.

I don't want people to feel like that.

I want to be the coach I needed back then: someone who keeps things simple, builds confidence first and actually cares about your progress.

My Approach

  • Confidence first. Once you feel comfortable, everything else becomes easier.
  • Keep it simple. No overcomplicated plans. Just clear structure that works for you.
  • Consistency over perfection. You don't need to be perfect. You just need to keep showing up.
