Privacy Policy

The contact form collects your name, your email address, what you need help with, your message and — only if you choose to add it — your mobile number. If you ask for a free consultation, it also collects the preferred and alternative days and times you give and anything you'd like to discuss. These times are preferences only; a consultation is arranged once Lauchlan contacts you and confirms a time. Contact form details are sent by email to Lauchlan and to you as a confirmation. They are also stored in Lovable Cloud for authorised administrator review, with private status updates and follow-up notes. A hidden anti-spam field helps reject automated submissions; it is not used to collect extra personal details.

The package quiz works out a recommendation in your browser, and you can see it without giving any details. You can also add your first name at the start so the quiz and your results feel a bit more personal — that is optional and can be left blank.

If you ask for your results by email, the quiz collects your first name (if you gave one), your email address, your four quiz answers and your recommendation, together with the page you started from and the time you sent it. No health, medical or other sensitive information is asked for, and no IP address or device details are stored with it.

Your details are only sent if you tick the first consent box, which is never ticked for you. They are used to send you the results you asked for and so Lauchlan can follow up personally about your recommendation. The lawful basis is your consent. The second box, for future emails about coaching, offers and availability, is completely separate, optional, and not needed to receive your results.

Submissions are stored securely in the website's database (hosted through Lovable Cloud), where website access is restricted to authorised administrator accounts. Your results are sent through Lovable's managed email service; a separate notification is sent to Lauchlan's Gmail inbox. Authorised project operators and service providers may also process the records to operate the website.

Quiz submissions are deleted automatically six months after they are received. You can withdraw either consent or ask for your submission to be deleted sooner at any time using the contact form. Managed app emails include a hosted unsubscribe link; opting out blocks future app emails from this sender, not just one template.

If you choose to sign up for occasional gym tips (on the Starter Pack page or after the quiz), we collect your email address and, if you give it, your first name. The lawful basis is your consent, given by actively ticking a box that is never ticked for you. Providing an email address on its own is not treated as consent. Your consent, the date and the page you signed up from are recorded. New opt-ins also record the wording and its version; this information is unavailable for older records where it was not collected. You receive one welcome email, and Lauchlan is notified of the sign-up by email to his Gmail account. You are not added to any external mailing-list service.

Sign-ups are stored in Lovable Cloud, with website access restricted to authorised administrator accounts. Records are deleted automatically six months after receipt. Lovable's managed email service keeps unsubscribe and suppression information separately to prevent unwanted sends; deleting a sign-up does not remove an email block. The consent recorded with a sign-up is a record of the original request, not a live subscription status. No automated marketing series or external mailing service is connected. You can use the hosted unsubscribe link, or ask Lauchlan manually by replying or using the contact form. Reply and contact requests require Lauchlan to act; they are not processed automatically. You can also request deletion sooner.

Contact form details are used to reply to your enquiry and, if you'd like to go further, to talk through suitable coaching. The lawful basis is legitimate interests — you have asked to be contacted, and replying to you is the only reason the information is held. If your mobile number is provided, it may be used to reply by text or WhatsApp.

Contact enquiries do not enrol you in gym tips emails. Those require the separate, explicit opt-in described above. Your details are not sold.

Website submission records and the website's contact email-send log are deleted automatically six months after receipt. This does not delete provider-held suppression information, delivery history or copies in email inboxes. Enquiry emails in Lauchlan's inbox are kept for as long as needed to answer you and to keep a record of coaching conversations, and are deleted once they are no longer relevant. The website keeps your submission and linked administrative notes/history for the same six-month period. Its existing contact email-send log records the recipient address, template, status, timestamp and any send error. You can ask for your details to be deleted at any time.

The website itself is hosted on Lovable's platform, which is delivered through Cloudflare. Enquiries are sent on by email through Lovable's managed email service and received in a personal Gmail inbox operated by Google. Each of these providers processes the information to deliver and operate the website, email and hosting analytics, and each has its own privacy terms.

Free consultations are requested through the contact form and confirmed by Lauchlan directly; no booking service is used for them. The paid introductory Personal Training offer is booked through Calendly. When you use Calendly, the information you provide is handled in accordance with Calendly's own privacy terms. Coaching packages are purchased and delivered through MyPTHub. Both open in a new tab. When you use them you are on their platforms, and anything you enter there — such as your name, email or payment details — is handled under their own privacy terms, not this one.

Live checks on 21 October 2026 found Cloudflare's __cf_bm cookie for bot protection, plus a hosting cookie named __dpl. The specific purpose and retention of the hosting cookie have not yet been verified. Cookie behaviour may vary when security challenges are triggered.

Cloudflare security cookies protect the site from automated abuse and are distinct from the hosting analytics described below. No advertising service has been added to this website.

The hosting platform also loads a small first-party script from this domain (served at /~flock.js) which sends page-view information to /~api/analytics. Its observed default behaviour creates a session-id cookie with a 30-minute lifetime and records the page address, referring page, browser information, language and an approximate country inferred from the browser's time zone. These visits can be grouped by session. This is analytics, not solely security or error reporting. The hosting analytics settings, retention and any applicable consent or exemption requirements need further verification; this policy does not claim analytics is disabled or consent-exempt.

Only authorised administrators can access submission records through the private portal, add follow-up notes, export records or delete them. Exports contain personal data and must be handled securely. An enquiry never counts as marketing consent or a confirmed purchase.

Subscriber exports require both recorded marketing consent and a current subscription check through Lovable’s managed email service. Administrators can process an unsubscribe through that service; this blocks future app emails from the sender too. Deleting a record does not remove the managed suppression block or Gmail copies.

Genuine client feedback is shown publicly only after Lauchlan confirms permission and approves publication. Feedback is unpublished by default. No private coaching notes are published as testimonials.

Under UK data protection law you can ask for a copy of the information held about you, ask for it to be corrected, ask for it to be deleted, ask for its use to be restricted, or object to it being used. There is no charge, and requests are answered within one month.

To make any of these requests — including deletion — use the contact form and say what you'd like done. If you are unhappy with the response, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
